Description
The TAOYUAN Ceramic Table Lamp brings traditional Chinese artistry into the home with its charming decoration and classic ginger jar shape. Set against a soft ivory background, rich cobalt blue branches are decorated with vibrant red peaches and delicate bat motifs, creating a colourful and characterful design.
The ceramic base sits on a dark wooden plinth and is finished with a softly tapered cream shade, creating a lovely balance between decorative detail and classic styling.
Perfect for a living room, bedroom or hallway, TAOYUAN works beautifully on a Chinese sideboard, console table or large bedside cabinet. Its combination of blue, red and ivory adds a welcome splash of colour, while the traditional oriental design complements both contemporary and classic interiors.
In Chinese culture, peaches are powerful symbols of longevity, immortality and good health. Often associated with the legendary Peaches of Immortality, they represent the wish for a long and happy life. The bat is another much-loved Chinese symbol, representing happiness and good fortune, as the Chinese word for bat, fú, sounds the same as the word for good fortune. Together, these traditional motifs create a meaningful design filled with positive symbolism.
