Description
The LIU Moss Green Tassel features two fish carved in a beautifully balanced, circular design. In Chinese culture, fish are auspicious symbols of abundance, prosperity and good fortune. A pair of fish also represents harmony, companionship and a happy partnership, while the flowing waves suggest movement and continuing success.
The deep green stone is finished with coordinating enamelled beads, an ornate silver-toned bead and a full moss green tassel. These rich, tonal shades give LIU a grounded elegance while allowing the detailed carving to stand out.
Style moss green with natural wood, warm cream and aged brass for a relaxed look. It also complements earthy shades of ochre and rust, as well as soft pink and blue.
Soapstone is a soft rock carved by the Chinese for centuries, still using the same techniques today. It's known as one of the most luxurious rocks to carve because of its beautiful translucence and texture. Soapstone can be carved into a variety of shapes and sizes. It's soft enough to carve with simple tools yet hard enough to hold its shape over time.
