Description
Bring warmth and character into your home with the DONGLU Antique Chinese Console Table. Dating from around 1920 and originating from Shandong Province, this lovely piece features a vibrant orange lacquer finish, beautifully worn over time to reveal layers of its history and natural wood beneath.
With three practical drawers, traditional metal drop handles and clean, simple lines, the DONGLU combines authentic Chinese craftsmanship with everyday functionality. Its wonderfully aged lacquer, contrasting dark detailing and gently tapered legs give it a relaxed, rustic appeal.
At just 35cm deep, this versatile oriental console table is ideal for a hallway, behind a sofa or as an occasional table in a living room. Style it with a table lamp, a collection of ceramics or a large vase of greenery to create a welcoming focal point.
Orange is traditionally associated with warmth, happiness and positive energy in Chinese culture. The DONGLU's cheerful colour works beautifully alongside natural woods, soft neutrals and earthy greens, bringing a lovely splash of colour to both contemporary and traditional interiors.
