The SHYLA Chinese Antique Trunk is a beautiful hand-painted piece made from Chinese pine and dating to around 1920. Originating from Shandong Province, it features a rich mustard yellow lacquer front adorned with intricate artwork of flowers, fish, butterflies, and dragonflies. Symbols traditionally associated with harmony, joy, prosperity, and transformation.
This vintage Chinese storage trunk is ideal as a blanket box, hallway piece, or end-of-bed storage. Its timeworn finish and soft colour palette bring charm, character, and a sense of heritage to any setting.
