A beautifully handcrafted piece of furniture that will add a touch of elegance and sophistication to any home. It originates from c.1920 in the Chinese province of Gansu, and its intricate craftsmanship is simply stunning.
This medium-length sideboard has been carefully hand-made from solid wood and hand-finished in our signature 'crackle' lacquer finish.
The delicate 'crackle' finish is achieved by applying many layers of lacquer, which are then cured and polished to create a unique, aged effect. It's perfect for adding a touch of antique sophistication to any room. As each piece is hand-made and finished, no two sideboards are exactly alike, making this an exceptional piece of furniture.
Two double cupboards, each with a removable shelf, offer generous storage for this compact cupboard. The four doors feature a smart beading feature on the panels and bear solid brass tab handles.
