Visiting our store during the COVID-19 Outbreak

Our very roomy barn is set over three floors, so we, and you, can be sure of safe distancing whilst you enjoy the designs, colours and textures once more, in the flesh, to be sure of your selections.

The large size, and rural location, of our barn means that you can be assured that numbers in the store will always be re-assuringly small, so that social distancing is easily implemented. Parking right outside the door to the barn, means that you can enjoy a safe & isolated journey without encountering any crowded places when visiting Orchid.

We have limited staff resources at present and are operating with reduced hours, so please make an appointment prior to your visit;  you are extremely welcome to come to either shop or simply browse. Deliveries during the COVID-19 Outbreak

Small accessories, lamps and Small Furniture will be delivered by Royal Mail, Parcelforce, Orchid Delivery (1 man) or 1-man courier service. Please allow extra time for deliveries during the COVID-19 outbreak.

1-man deliveries will not require a signature. Small parcels will be delivered outside your door or to a pre-arranged, safe, location outside your house. 

If your order is for small furniture we will contact you with details of your delivery slot. Depending upon your location we will use a courier or our own in-house delivery serivce.We are operating doorstep deliveries, maintaining a safe distance; we will not require a signature.

If our in-house sevice is making the delivery, then our driver will call 1 hour prior to arrival on the agreed delivery day within the agreed 2 hour time slot.

If we are allocating your order to a 1-man courier delivery, we will notify you at the time of order, then the courier will contact you to arrange the delivery timing.

Safety of our staff and customers is paramount to us here at Orchid; for any large furniture orders, we will contact you to discuss the delivery depending upon your location and your circumstances. So long as it is safe to do so (there is nobody at the delivery address who is shielding or displaying Corona virus symptoms) you can agree to help our driver unload and carry the large furniture in to your property. Our driver will maintain a safe distance and no signature is required. The alternative is for your order to be stored free of charge until we can deliver safely according to Government guidelines. 

Collection of your large furniture order is possible. Please contact us by email to arrange a mutualy convenient time and date to collect our furniture from our large store with easy parking, situated 1 mile outside Stockbridge. We are observing socal distancing guidelines, so we cannot help with lifting the furniture or it placing in your car, however, if required prior to collection we will wrap your furniture with a protective layer of bubble-wrap.

Order confirmations

Please check your contact email address is correct when entered on your order. Orders will be allocated and confirmed as soon as they are placed on line, please check your Spam folder for your order confirmation email (if it is not received within minutes of placing your order).

As a business we believe we must do our part to slow the spread of the virus and to keep our staff and customers safe and to not take any unnecessary risks - please inform us if you are anyone in your house is on isolation with Corona Virus symptoms or has been close to a person with symptoms, if this is the case, then please do not request delivery at this time.
