Admin Assistant & Sales Support
We are looking for a confident person who works well under pressure, is not fazed by multi-tasking.
Reporting to the Operations & Logistics Manager, this busy and varied role will satisfy anybody who can maintain order, show initiative, accuracy and good humour, even when under pressure.
Full training will be given for all Orchid systems.
General office administration
Stock administration online and in-store
Stock arrivals administration
Sales order processing
Booking couriers, temporary staff, shippers
Maintaining daily, weekly & monthly duties + data entry
Creating delivery schedules
Monitoring and ordering office supplies
Picking and packing products for dispatch or courier collection
Showroom admin support

The Applicant - Essential skills:
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
A keen eye for detail
A good standard of computer literacy including the use of PC, Mac, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
Highly organised, with an ability to work to deadlines, to plan and prioritise short and long-term tasks effectively
The ability to work independently if necessary
A good sense of humour and a proactive, positive attitude
An organised and reliable work ethic
Excellent face-to-face skills, a fierce desire to succeed and to go the extra mile when necessary
The ability to grasp instruction, systems and routines
Honesty, integrity and reliability
The Applicant - Desirable skills but not essential:
Image editing experience, Photoshop, Bridge or similar.
Experience of using website content management systems.
Passions including interior design, retail, sales, Oriental style
Copy writing and proof-reading skills
A creative flair in the generation of original online content
